I’m Chef Alex Ortiz, and my passion is to transform every event into an unforgettable experience. With years of experience as an executive chef at prestigious hotels in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, I specialize in catering for weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings. I work with fresh and sustainable ingredients, many of which are grown in my own garden, to ensure authentic flavors and exceptional quality in every dish.

My Passion, Story, and Experience

Cooking is my greatest passion. From the moment I plant and select the ingredients to the creation of the final dish, I find inspiration in every step of the process. My goal is for everyone to enjoy the fresh flavors that come from this dedication. Put me in a kitchen, and I will be happy because cooking with love is my essence.

My journey into the catering world was marked by an unforgettable moment: being chosen to represent Mexico at a global culinary festival. That experience not only filled me with pride but also motivated me to build a career where I’ve been part of countless social events, always leaving my mark through my dishes.

With over 25 years of experience in the kitchen, I’ve had the privilege of working on a wide range of events, from conferences, concerts, and exhibitions to weddings, quinceañeras, and graduations. Each occasion has its own essence, and I strive to express that in every detail of the food I prepare. My commitment has always been to offer something unique, special, and full of flavor because I know that food has the power to tell stories and create unforgettable memories.
